July 2025 Special Events

Sunday, July 20
10:00am in the St. Luke’s Sanctuary

Christmas in July

Join us for Christmas liturgy, carols, and pictures in front of the tree as we celebrate the continual renewal of our faith in Jesus Christ. We’ll sing Christmas carols, read the Christmas readings, and even put up a Christmas tree It has been suggested that people bring their Christmas sweaters and gather around the tree for photos to use in your Christmas card this year. There will be a coffee hour, with Christmas treats, to add to the festivities.

To honor the Christmas spirit of generosity and giving, we ask that you consider bringing a gift.

This year, we will be collecting new items as gifts for Alpha House, a local shelter serving homeless families. They will be opening a new shelter space on the Trinity campus to serve 30 more families!

Sunday, July 6
11:00am in the Lounge (after the 10am service; light refreshments)

Poetry in Times Like These

Inspired by Adrienne Rich’s poem What Kind of Times Are These, we’re inviting you to bring poems that speak to our times—words that give hope, stir the spirit, or call us to action. The poems might be spiritual, political, funny, deeply personal—a psalm, a song (singing encouraged!), or anything else that moves you. Bring a poem, or just show up to read and discuss poems selected by others.
